I love this song and movie! As far as it relates to this course, I think the message fits well with our reading for tomorrow. And, I have to wonder what makes others so unhappy that there seems to be nothing and no one who is free from their attacks.

I hadn't listened to this in quite some time; I never realized the level of Baloo's asceticism. Would his "bare necessities" philosophy prevent us from labeling him an Epicurean?

I haven't actually gave much attention when hearing this song. But it does make me intrigued as to why others may be unhappy.

I can't stand it
