This is a very profound meme! And, though I agree that not all religions, or religious people, are this way, it seems as though most are and that religious thought tends to further this way of thinking and behaving. Overall, I think Epicurus would enjoy it, even though he himself practiced a form of religion. Thanks for sharing!
The Unitarians aren't so much that way. (Ask me about the trouble I had with Belmont once, for admitting a mild admiration for them.)
