EXTRA CREDIT. Write a paragraph or two on one of the following... -Which do you prefer, Russell’s “zest” and “conquest,” or Freud’s “discontent” and pessimism? Or neither? Do you prefer another historical philosopher of happiness? Who? Why?
-A recent review tried to explain the popularity of “Breaking Bad” as a reflection of the unhappiness that results from the American “pursuit of happine$$.” Agree or disagree?
-OR supply and respond to your own discussion question.
